In accordance with the "Regulations on the Protection of Computer Software of the People's Republic of China" and the company's relevant management regulations, in order to prevent legal risks and clarify the attribution of responsibilities, the following matters are hereby notified:

1. All departments are required to immediately conduct a self-inspection of the computers they use. If any unauthorized ChemDraw/ChemOffice software is found installed, its use must be stopped immediately and it must be completely uninstalled.

Second, it has been learned that similar alternative products (such as some chemical structure drawing software) are already available in China, offering permanent free access to Chinese research institutions. Those who need them can choose compliant alternative tools.

III. From the date of this notice, any individual who continues to use unauthorized ChemDraw/ChemOffice software shall bear all legal liabilities and adverse consequences (including but not limited to infringement claims, lawsuits, fines, etc.) arising therefrom.
